#13 – WHAT IS BIOETHANOL?

Bioethanol is a biodegradable fuel produced through the fermentation of products of vegetable origin, such as sugar cane, potatoes, beetroot and cereals, among others. It is considered to be a renewable source of energy, 100% ecological, which respects the environment and does not contribute to the global warming of the planet. Hence the name “bio” ethanol.

Its combustion process generates the release of carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O), but the amount of CO2 produced by a bioethanol fireplace is equivalent to the amount produced by two candles, which makes this equipment very environmentally friendly. This is undoubtedly one of the reasons why bioethanol combustion is clean and complete, and does not contribute to aggravating the greenhouse effect and global warming.

Bioethanol fireplaces do not produce smoke, unpleasant smells or create sparks, so they do not need a chimney or extraction pipes, they are very easy to maintain and have the great advantage of being able to be placed in any room in your home.
